Different Ways You Can Volunteer
Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, use your existing skills, and gain new skills and confidence. It is also a great addition to one's CV. Volunteer With Us

Events & Activities Volunteer Role

To provide support with registering attendees at our information and advice events, assist with serving food and refreshments, and set up events at various venues. Provide support to host community events/activities by helping residents write poetry or learn to draw and paint with local artists, sing along with live performers, learn different types of dances with local dance teachers, learn gardening skills, and much more.

Advice Volunteer Role

To support clients with welfare benefits form filling, undertake general benefit checks and benefit calculations to maximise income, support with grant applications for furniture, white goods, warm clothes, warm beddings, small household items, fuel vouchers, food vouchers, and much more.

Volunteer With Us

Information Volunteer Role

To provide information and support to clients who contact us via our Infoline and email. To also handle general casework enquiries, including creating new cases for the Advice Team.

Communications Volunteer Role

To assist with researching and creating newsletter content, updating website and social media content, drafting flyers and information packs for various activities and services within the Charity, and much more.
